Terms of service
These general terms and conditions apply to all orders that customers place via the online shop of ByDominique, Dominique Rinderknecht, Badenerstrasse 286, 8004 Zurich.
By purchasing I agree to the following terms & conditions:
1. Resistant pieces may loose colour or shine with constant contact in water.
2. Pieces are handcrafted and show the craftsmanship (small 'imperfections' and maybe scratches).
3. Stone may be cracked. If you have chosen a stone piece, please note that you are purchasing with the knowledge that your stone may be cracked upon receiving. Rings are priced in accordance with weight in metal, not stones. Unfortunately for this reason, we are unable to offer refunds when a stone cracks.
4. It takes up 6 weeks before an item is dispatched. The pieces are handcrafted and take their time to be made. Once you have placed your order, you will not be able to refund before the order is dispatched so please choose carefully. Thank you for supporting slow fashion & sustainable businesses.
5. The pieces may differ slightly from images. ByDominique pieces are handcrafted especially for you.
6. Once purchased pieces will not be resized. Production happens after an order is placed, so the piece is made just for you. Only certain pieces can be resized and only for additional payment which will be communicated via email depending on location and jewellery piece. To avoid this please communicate sizing carefully. In case you have selected the wrong size and realize shortly after placing the order, you must notify us within 1 week of purchase, then we might be able to adjust - it is not guaranteed. You cannot return an item for refund if it is the wrong size.
REGISTRATION:
Shopping at ByDominique is only permitted to customers who have registered properly and truthfully. The creation of multiple accounts and their use by the same person is strictly prohibited. In addition, any industrial or commercial use for the purpose of reselling goods to third parties is prohibited. Violations can lead to immediate exclusion and the assertion of claims for damages by ByDominique. ByDominique can also limit the maximum delivery quantity per item and customer.
CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT:
The presentation of the products in the online shop does not represent a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order. By clicking the "Buy" button in the shopping cart, the customer submits a binding offer. The automatically generated confirmation e-mail documents the receipt of the order. The binding contractual relationship only is valid when ByDominique confirms the dispatch of the goods by e-mail (dispatch confirmation), however, at the latest when the goods are delivered. If, during the processing of the order, ByDominique determines that the products ordered by the customer are not available, the customer will be informed of this by email. A contract for the unavailable goods does not come about.
RESERVATION OF OWNERSHIP:
The goods remain the property of ByDominique until full payment has been made.
