Shipping policy
The prices listed in the ByDominique online shop at the time of the order apply. The prices given are net prices in Swiss francs (CHF) or are converted into the selected currency. ByDominique's homes are Switzerland and South Africa. Your piece is going to be handcrafted at a workshop in Cape Town which means it is being shipped from South Africa. The costs for this shipping are already included in the prices - all other costs related to customs and VAT may apply upon receiving the ordered product and must be paid by the customer in full.
DELIVERY TERMS
Once an order is being placed ByDominique starts handcrafting the piece. For a product to get ready to be shipped can take up to 6 weeks. In the event that production would take more time the customer will be contacted via email. Any damages on the product which happened during shipping must be reported with photos immediately or latest within 24 hours from receipt of the goods, sent to ByDominique via email. If the delivery of the goods fails through the fault of the customer ByDominique can not be made responsible and will not cover any additional costs.
Please note: ByDominique will not be held responsible for incorrect/invalid address input, customs/import taxes in your country, restrictions in your country receiving parcels from South Africa. If a parcel is sent back due to any of these reason, the customer will cover extra shipping/return cost. (If unsure, please rather check the customs/import taxes in your country, as well as any restrictions receiving international post from South Africa)
Lost parcels: ByDominique has insured the pieces up until the parcel is delivered to the final shipping address. What happens after the courier drops the parcel is not our responsibility. Standard packages are sent by standard international courier services such as DHL, Fedex and so on.
